Community/Public/Population Health and the Next Gen NCLEX;
What’s going on?

When: Monday, October 3 from 3:00 – 4:00 EST

Objectives:

  1. Provide a brief summary of the NGN NCLEX.
  2. Discuss how community/public/population health is presented on the NGN NCLEX exam.
  3. Discuss ways community/public/population health nurses and educators can participate in NCLEX activities.

The Association of Community Health Nursing Educators (ACHNE) is committed to advancing population health through quality community/public health nursing education, research, and service. Our strategic plan in action means that we are developing new partnerships. As part of our commitment to advancing population health, we have heard many of you express curiosity about how population health might appear on the new NGN NCLEX. To explore this issue, ACHNE is hosting an upcoming webinar with guest speaker, Jason Schwartz, MS, Director of Outreach at the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN). He is committed to sharing accurate and timely information with stakeholders regarding NCSBN examinations, services, and other offerings. Prior to joining NCSBN in 2019, Jason spent 10 years with Pearson VUE supporting the NCLEX and other NCSBN programs in various roles at the executive level. He brings more than 25 years of experience overall in high-stakes testing.  Jason holds degrees in mathematics from the University of Oregon and the University of California, Berkeley. This webinar promises to be an exciting opportunity for attendees to engage in the future of the NGN NCLEX.

Attendance is FREE and open to everyone, but you must register in advance.
